Ollantaytambo, Peru

A lot has changed. I bet nobody reads this. But this is a photo of a ceremony I saw today in Ollantaytambo.

A man was very officiously reading a declaration made by the local government. The problem? No spectators.

I'm back, diarios!

The diarios picture of day was not taken today, but it does feature my ñaña (far left) ! And she's bellydancing. Taken by anonymous photographer in Brooklyn.

Socks and sandals

Our traveled friend Michael was passing through Puerto Rico to read a paper at a conference at the UPR. His feet as they appear below are also as they appeared at the conference. We admire his disregard for suitable dress, and that's why he wins photo of the day for diarios.

A collection of sorts

I know I'm breaking several rules by posting this collage, but I've been gone so long that I think diarios has to take what it can get at this point.

The photo that brought back diarios

I'm back. This is a photo of the fiestas de la calle San Sebastian, which happened about two months ago.
Don't fret, though: I'm back for good. Whenever I get photos in the mail of my trip to Vieques, they will appear here (gloriously).
